Which Pillow Pouch Machine Fits Your Product?
Pillow pouches — also called fin-seal sachets or 3/4-side seal sachets — are flat rectangular pouches formed from rollstock film. Shantou Dachuan's pillow-sachet line covers two platforms: a horizontal form-fill-seal (HFFS) line for 3/4-side seal sachets at medium-to-high speed (DC-228, DC-338, DC-889), and a vertical collar-type (VFFS) line for back-seal pillow bags at medium speed (DC-890B). Multi-lane variants (DC-880G, DC-880L) multiply throughput on the same horizontal platform. Choose by bag format, product type and required speed.
DC-228 / DC-338 Horizontal 3/4-Side Seal Sachet Series
The DC-228 and DC-338 series are Shantou Dachuan's horizontal form-fill-seal (HFFS) pillow-sachet platforms — forming 3-side or 4-side seal sachets directly from rollstock film. Servo-driven film feed, horizontal and vertical heat-seal jaws with PID control, and an HMI recipe system for quick bag-length and fill-volume changeover.
DC-228 Series
Horizontal 3/4-Side Seal Sachet
Horizontal HFFS line for 3-side and 4-side seal sachets. Servo film feed with electronic tension control, stainless-steel forming set, PID heat-seal jaws. Ideal for medium-speed production of snack, candy, sugar, salt, seasoning, detergent powder and pharmaceutical granule sachets.

DC-338 Series
High-Speed 3/4-Side Seal Sachet
High-speed upgrade of the DC-228 platform — reinforced sealing jaws, high-frequency heating, and an optimised film-pull servo for sustained high-speed production. Designed for large-volume food, detergent and agrochemical packaging lines where throughput above 80 sachets/min is required.

DC-889 / DC-880 Multi-Lane Sachet Series
The DC-889, DC-880G and DC-880L share the same horizontal HFFS platform but run multiple lanes side-by-side — multiplying throughput without enlarging machine footprint. DC-889 is the ultra-high-speed single-format champion; DC-880G handles granule multi-lane; DC-880L handles liquid and viscous multi-lane — all sharing the same HMI recipe system.

Granule Multi-Lane Sachet (4-Side Seal)
Multi-lane horizontal HFFS platform for granule products — coffee powder, milk powder, sugar, salt, seasoning, nuts, pet food, desiccant, pesticide granule. Each lane runs an independent multi-head weigher or volumetric cup filler. Scales from 2 to 8 lanes for 200–600+ sachets/min total.

DC-890B Vertical Collar-Type Back-Seal Pillow Bag
The DC-890B is a vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) collar-type machine — it pulls rollstock film through a stainless-steel forming collar, shapes it into a tube, fills the tube, and heat-seals it into a back-seal pillow bag in one continuous motion. Unlike horizontal HFFS sachets, the VFFS back-seal pillow bag has no side seals and offers a smoother, more Hermetic package — ideal for powders, granules and viscous products that need a stronger, more compact seal.
